Integration
How this fits into your business
Payroll is a regular deadline-led process. Each pay period depends on having the right employee details, pay information, deductions, pension information and payroll records available before the payroll is processed.
For a new employer, this will mean setting up PAYE, payroll records, payroll software and the process for providing pay information each period. For an existing employer, it will mean working with the payroll software already in use and agreeing how payroll information will be checked, updated and submitted.
Payroll software handles much of the calculation and processing, but it depends on accurate employee details, pay information, deductions, pension settings and review before submission.
Payroll connects with bookkeeping, employer records and workplace pension duties. Pay runs, PAYE submissions, payslips, P60s and pension information need to be handled in a way that fits the business and the number of people employed.
We start by discussing how your payroll is currently handled, when staff are paid, what information is needed each pay period, and which parts of the process you would like us to take on.
Starting point
Payroll needs regular attention
Payroll can become more involved when a business takes on staff, changes how people are paid, or needs a regular process for pay information, submissions and payroll records.
Some examples of where we can provide payroll administration:
Taking on staff
You are becoming an employer and need PAYE, employee records, software and a regular pay process put in place.
Payroll takes time
Each pay period needs information gathered, checked, processed and recorded, taking time away from other business work.
Pay details change
Starters, leavers, deductions, holiday pay, pension details or pay changes need to be reflected in the payroll.
Deadlines are fixed
Pay dates, RTI submissions, pension dates and payroll records need regular attention throughout the year.
